Polish-Speaking Therapist in Milton, Ontario
Therapy in Polish (Polski) and English, in person in Milton or virtually across Ontario.
Milton and the surrounding Halton and Peel communities are home to many Polish-speaking families. Some people grew up speaking Polish at home and still find it easier to talk about feelings in it; others want a therapist who understands where their parents or grandparents came from.
Monika Garncarek, Registered Social Worker, offers therapy in Polish and English at our Milton office and online.

She also works with teens and young adults finding their footing after school.
Her style is warm, open and collaborative, and she offers therapy in Polish and English so clients can use the language they feel most comfortable in.

Between two homes
Being part of a Polish family in Canada can bring strong ties and real strengths, along with expectations about work, caregiving and keeping things private. Therapy is a place to look at those patterns with curiosity, keep what serves you, and make room for your own needs without guilt.

What a first session looks like
Your first session is a chance to talk about what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to feel differently. Monika will ask about your life, work and relationships, and you'll decide together on goals and how often to meet. You're in charge of the pace, and you can bring as much or as little as you're ready to share.
