Hindi-Speaking Therapists in Milton, Ontario
Therapy in Hindi (हिन्दी) in person in Milton, or virtually anywhere in Ontario.
Talking about stress, low mood or family tension is hard in any language. It can be harder when you're translating your own feelings into English, or when you worry that a therapist won't understand the expectations you grew up with.
Two members of our team offer therapy in Hindi. Sahar Majeed sees children, teens and adults in person in Milton or virtually, and Shishir Pandey offers virtual therapy for adults across Ontario. Both are comfortable moving between Hindi and English.
Sahar Majeed, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Sahar works with children aged five and older, teens and adults, in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi. She supports anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, Autism and neurodivergence, and parents who want help understanding their child. She draws on CBT, DBT skills and mindfulness, and sees clients at our Milton office or online.
Shishir Pandey, Registered Social Worker
Shishir offers culturally responsive virtual therapy in Hindi, Nepali and English for adults across Ontario. As a first-generation immigrant, he understands that building a new life can involve grief, shifting family roles, pressure to succeed and questions about belonging. His background spans social work, mental health, nursing and education, and he draws on CBT, DBT, narrative and solution-focused therapy.

Choosing between them
If you'd like to come to the office in Milton, or you're looking for support for a child or teen, Sahar is likely the better fit. If you're an adult who prefers online sessions, or you'd like someone who also speaks Nepali, Shishir may suit you. You don't have to decide on your own: book a free 15-minute consultation and we'll help you choose.
When home and the outside world expect different things
Many of the people we see are managing two sets of expectations at once: what family and community expect, and what life in Canada asks of them. That can show up as guilt, burnout, conflict with parents or a partner, or feeling that there's no space to put your own needs first. Therapy offers a private place to sort through those pressures without judgment.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer in-person therapy in Hindi in Milton?
Yes. Sahar Majeed sees clients in Hindi at our office at 243 Main St E in Milton. Shishir Pandey offers Hindi sessions virtually, for adults anywhere in Ontario.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Everything you share is confidential and protected under Ontario's privacy law for health information (PHIPA). Your therapist won't discuss you with anyone in your family or community without your consent, except in the rare situations the law requires, such as a serious risk to someone's safety, which your therapist will explain at your first session.
Can I bring a family member to a session?
Sometimes that helps, for example when parents want to understand how to support a child, or when a couple wants to talk something through. Talk to your therapist about whether and when it would be useful.
Is Hindi-language therapy covered by insurance?
Sessions with a Registered Social Worker are covered by many extended health plans, and coverage for other practitioners varies. We provide receipts after each session; check your plan for details.
