About Monika

Hello

Hey there, I am Monika Garncarek, and I am here to support you through whatever challenges life is placing in front of you. In a world that can feel overwhelming, fast-paced, and demanding, I want you to know that you do not have to navigate your struggles alone. Your wellbeing matters, and you deserve space to slow down, breathe, and be cared for.

I see life as a winding journey—full of moments we prepare for, and others that arrive unexpectedly. Through my own path, I've faced anxiety, loss, family conflict, work pressures, and the day-to-day challenges that can shake your confidence. These experiences ground my practice in empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding that healing is never linear. Some days you move forward, some days you pause, and both are perfectly okay. What matters is giving yourself grace along the way.

I support individuals who appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or depleted internally. Many of my clients are women balancing multiple roles—such as motherhood, careers, relationships, and being a provider—while carrying the invisible mental and emotional load that comes with it. Over time, this can lead to burnout, resentment, and a sense of losing oneself. I work with these clients to help them reconnect with their identity, build sustainable emotional capacity, and create space for themselves without guilt.

I also work with teenagers and young adults who are navigating the transition out of post-secondary education and into early adulthood. This stage often brings uncertainty, pressure to 'figure it out,' and questions around identity, direction, and purpose. I support clients in making sense of this in-between phase—helping them build clarity, confidence, and a stronger connection to who they are as they begin to shape their lives.

Professionally, I have worked with diverse youth, women, and families in community and mental health settings. I also have meaningful experience supporting children and youth who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD, helping them build skills, confidence, and self-understanding.

My therapeutic style is warm, open, and collaborative—and I offer therapy in both Polish and English to support clients in the language they feel most comfortable with. I consider it an honour to be part of someone's healing journey, and I look forward to walking alongside you.
